How do the three tiers differ — and can I mix them?

The dividing line is how much of the execution you want us to own. Property Revamp is for existing, already-furnished Airbnbs that need a refresh: an audit and room-by-room direction to sharpen what's already there. For a full design project (new property or full redesign), you pick one of two paths, not both. Virtual Design gives you the complete design plan resolved down to a personally curated shopping list for every room, and you handle the buying and installing yourself. Full-Service includes everything in Virtual Design, plus we take on project management: procurement, delivery tracking, vendor and contractor coordination, and on-site staging. It comes down to whether you want a curated list to execute yourself, or you want us managing execution too.

How long does setup take?

Setup time depends partly on how quickly we hear back from you along the way. The faster you review and approve, the faster we move. As a baseline, Virtual Design typically runs about 4 weeks from your initial call and deposit to a finished, ready-to-shop plan. Full-Service builds on that timeline and then some. Plan on an additional 4 to 6 weeks beyond Virtual Design, since vendor coordination, procurement, and installation logistics all come into play once your design direction is set. All told, Full-Service usually takes several weeks start to finish. The exact window depends on your specific design and how many vendors and deliveries are involved, so we'll give you a realistic timeline once we've scoped your property.

Can I use my existing furniture?

On Property Revamp, yes. That's the whole point: we assess what you have and build the refresh around what's worth keeping. Virtual Design and Full-Service typically start from an empty canvas, since properties at that stage usually haven't been furnished yet. If you do want to incorporate existing pieces into a Virtual or Full-Service project, we can. We'll just assess what you have as part of the design process to determine what's worth keeping and what isn't.

Question 4

Is furniture purchasing included or billed separately?

Accepted Answer

Furnishings, decor, and materials are always your cost and stay your property. On Property Revamp and Virtual Design you purchase directly. On Full-Service we manage procurement and orders on your behalf, so purchases are still yours while the coordination work is ours.

Question 5

Do you work outside Charlotte?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We're based in Charlotte, NC, but we're not limited to it. Virtual Design works anywhere since everything is delivered remotely. For Full-Service, if our schedule allows, our own team can travel to handle your project directly. If we're not available to travel, we coordinate with vetted local vendors so we can still manage Full-Service anywhere. Wherever your property is, tell us and we'll figure out the right way to make it work.
